Welcome to the newest section of SteveLacey.net, here I will be putting the latest projects I am working on, and any small scripts I have written. Most of the work at the moment will be using PHP & AJAX but we'll see where it goes!

This diagram is basically a graphical representation of some of the scripts I've written recently to allow all the web services I use to be updated by each other.

The script of most importance to me is the Facebook->Twitter script, the first I wrote out of all of them- the basic function of it is to take my Facebook status and Tweet it! You can also see that my Facebook->Flickr are linked, everytime I upload photos to Facebook, these are also transferred over to Flickr, this was the most difficult script to write considering Facebook at present has no API, I had to write an elaborate workaround using an application on Facebook which produces RSS feeds out about individual photo albums.

All the arrows pointing directly to SteveLacey.net represent simple API access to retrieve recent data and display it on the homepage of this site.
